Job Overview

As an Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the electrical equipment at our site. This involves undertaking day-to-day preventative maintenance and repairs using SAP work management processes.

">

Our team maintains over 1,000 residential properties as well as around 300 FIFO accommodation units in Newman. You will be actively involved in the maintenance planning process.

Responsibilities

">
  • Undertake preventative maintenance inspections of plant and equipment;">
  • Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility, and sustainable development;">
  • Ensure proper scoping of corrective work to facilitate planning;">
  • Maintain positive relationships through effective communication and consultation;">
  • Maintain appropriate standards of behaviour;">
  • Participate in implementing business plans aligned with site strategies;">
  • Monitor the Housing Maintenance work plan and escalate issues as needed;">
  • Perform planned, breakdown, and shutdown activities related to housing maintenance;">
  • Conduct system inspections both online and offline;">

Requirements

  • Trade/certificate in Electrical Discipline;">
  • Valid Australian C class driver's license;">
  • A Grade Electrical License;">
  • EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights certifications;">
  • Experience in both domestic work and mining operations.">
