Job Title: Theatre Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced theatre technician to provide technical support for our programs and events. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and packing down audio/visual systems, as well as maintaining a high level of technical expertise in your field.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in light/sound/theatre technical production or substantial job-related experience in a similar position.
  • Extensive knowledge of theatre and events operations, including the set up/pack down and operation of audio/visual systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Strong awareness and understanding of WHS issues and risk management.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Class C Driver's Licence and working with children check.
  • Commitment to role modelling our values of respect, integrity, trust, teamwork and optimism.
