Job Description

e.g. a role where you will validate system upgrades to ensure their effectiveness prior to deployment.

  • You will be responsible for assisting in test planning, creating test cases and performing testing.
  • Reporting on progress of testing is also part of your key responsibilities.
  • Assisting in test environment setup and maintenance is crucial in this role.
  • You will contribute to the development of a comprehensive knowledge base to support training and cross-skilling initiatives.
  • Analysing and addressing production defects and issues is essential.
  • Providing end user support as required is also necessary.
About The Role

In this role, you will be working closely with the Test Manager to deliver innovative technology solutions and critical projects that support both the Australian business and the global network with scalable, consistent services.

As a member of our IT Department, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of planned system upgrades before they are deployed.

Based at our Corporate Office, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining test environments and contributing to the development of a comprehensive knowledge base.

About You

Previous experience working within a similar retail franchise is vital for this role.

This background ensures you have a solid understanding of Point of Sale (POS)/VO systems, as well as strong process knowledge in areas such as cash and invoice sales, receipting, stocktaking, and purchase ordering.

You should also have a keen interest in IT and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Experience or familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Testing certifications will be preferred.
