Care Manager - Residential Aged Care in Northern NSW

We are seeking a dedicated Care Manager to join our team at one of our residential aged care facilities.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to lead and support our care staff in delivering outstanding care services.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide comprehensive and resident-focused clinical assessments that deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with staff, residents, and families to achieve person-centred outcomes that enhance the lives of our residents.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families through trust, communication, and empathy.
  • Lead and support care staff in delivering exceptional care services that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Manage medication safely and effectively in line with legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to operational duties and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
Key Requirements
  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and promoting their wellbeing.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and AN-ACC processes.
  • Availability to work full-time hours (76 hours per fortnight) in a Monday-to-Friday 'office hours' environment.
  • A valid police check clearance and full Australian Working rights.
