Lead F&B Operations Manager

 

The Food and Beverage Outlet Manager will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and empower a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service standards and quality food presentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communicate F&B needs and requirements effectively.
  • Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
  • Ensure all food and beverage operations comply with relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in F&B operations, with at least 3 years in a management-level role responsible for a F&B venue/outlet.
  • Proven success in similar roles within luxury or five-star hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality venues.
  • Degree or diploma in hospitality management or related fields (preferred).
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and Food Handling Certificate.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and coach large, diverse teams.
  • A deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience personalization.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and CRM tools.
  • Calm under pressure—handling complaints, emergencies, or operational hiccups without disruption.
  • Knowledge of global culinary, mixology, and service trends with the ability to innovate and adapt proactively.
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Fluent in the English language; extra language skills would be great, but not essential.
  • Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene.
  • Physical fitness as you'll be on your feet most of the day.
