Research Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking a visionary academic leader to drive the development of cutting-edge research infrastructure for climate action in transport and land use planning. This strategic role will be responsible for driving the development, coordination, and delivery of innovative research projects through collaboration with government agencies, academic partners, and platform providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement scalable and interoperable infrastructure aligned with AURIN systems.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and collaboration across research and policy communities.
  • Design and implement analytical tools and data integration strategies to support climate-related decision-making.
Requirements
  • A PhD in urban planning, data science, geography, transport, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in complex research infrastructure or data platform projects.
  • Expertise in data science, spatial analysis, and infrastructure for climate or urban research.
  • A strong track record of stakeholder engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with AURIN, government data systems, and planning support tools.
