Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Clinical pharmacy specialists play a vital role in advancing health for everyone, every day. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services and patient care, supporting advances in clinical practice and patient care activities.

  • Develop and implement effective clinical pharmacy strategies to improve patient outcomes and advance the quality use of medicines.
  • Provide expert mentoring and guidance to pharmacists, technicians, interns, and students, promoting the quality use of medicines and contributing to quality and safety research projects.
  • Collaborate with key staff across the organization, working towards patient-focused KPIs and contributing to on-call, after-hours, public holiday, and weekend services.
  • As a member of our clinical pharmacy team, you will have opportunities to develop your clinical pharmacy skills and participate in residency programs.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
  • Experience in delivering clinical pharmacy services.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
  • Completed or working towards a residency program or can demonstrate competence in hospital pharmacy rotations.
