Psychologist Opportunity

A private practice in Brisbane's Northside is seeking a registered psychologist who values neurodiversity and is passionate about creating a psychologically safe workplace.

The ideal candidate will have experience in neurodiversity-affirming practice, with skills in supporting autistic clients, ADHDers, AuDHDers, and others with neurodevelopmental differences.

They will also be able to provide inclusive, evidence-based therapy to sex and gender diverse clients, and have a strong understanding of NDIS, Medicare, DVA, and WorkCover requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychosocial interventions in a supportive private practice setting.
  • Work with adults and adolescents aged 15 and above, including NDIS participants, DVA card holders, private clients, Medicare referrals, WorkCover, and EAP clients.
  • Develop and implement assessments and interventions that are tailored to the needs of each client.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist (general or endorsed).
  • Medicare Provider Number, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • National Police Check.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Experience in neurodiversity-affirming practice, with skills in supporting autistic clients, ADHDers, AuDHDers, and others with neurodevelopmental differences.
  • Ability to provide inclusive, evidence-based therapy to sex and gender diverse clients.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS, Medicare, DVA, and WorkCover requirements.
