Job Title: Product Manager

Location: ANZ

Reporting To: Portfolio Leader

The primary role of the Product Manager is to manage the product life cycle of products within a defined portfolio. Key responsibilities include resourcing the commercial teams to sell product with the required level of knowledge, marketing materials, and sales tools, ensuring business growth is aligned to the commercial strategy.

The Product Manager is responsible for product positioning and pricing guidance, growth strategy, competitor and market knowledge, inventory management, and marketing outputs. Working closely with other function business units, the Product Manager ensures that the needs of our customer can be met and supported, and that Thermo Fisher Scientific is a supplier of choice for the defined product range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Strategy: compilation of marketing plans and strategy for your products, including detail and execution in line with customer needs, business goals, and market intelligence.
  • Demand Generation: drive demand for your products by understanding market opportunities and/or gaps and by providing the commercial teams with all required tools to capitalise on these opportunities.
  • Supplier Partner Relationship Management: effectively communicate with and manage all key supplier relationships so that expectations are understood, issues are proactively communicated and resolved, and performance measurement criteria are mutually agreed upon and achieved.
  • Inventory Management: manage inventory and product forecasting so that internal targets are met, and customer expectations are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: commerce, business, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven Experience: product management, preferably in the healthcare or scientific industry.
