Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Climate Change Consultant.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver services in line with the upcoming Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS). This includes GHG Emissions Accounting, Renewable Energy, Target Setting & Decarbonisation Strategy as well as the identification, assessment and management of climate related risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on client project teams, reporting to project managers and directors.
  • Understand and interpret client needs, clearly communicating client goals and overall business objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather data using a range of techniques including interviews, surveys, focus groups and data requests.
  • Utilise data analysis tools including Excel and GIS to create tailored reports and model scenarios.
  • Support the development of presentations and reports for clients that have a clear narrative and inform decisions.
  • Support new business generation through drafting and developing proposals with oversight from senior team members.
  • Represent the company in virtual and out-of-office environments including events, conferences and panels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Understanding of core concepts of climate science.
  • Passion and interest in sustainability and sustainable business.
  • Demonstrate understanding of some aspects of climate change strategy including GHG accounting and development of corporate carbon footprints.
