We're seeking a motivated Trade Business Development Manager who is passionate about discovering new business opportunities and growing inactive trade accounts. This position involves actively pursuing new prospects, engaging daily with trade painters in person and by phone to generate sales leads and drive customer success.
The successful candidate will assess trade painters' activities to uncover potential sales, evaluate the scope of work, and convert these opportunities into growth. As part of our team, you'll benefit from the ownership and support necessary to excel, with dedicated backing from leaders and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities- Drive profitable growth through tailored value propositions.
- Engage daily with trade painters to generate sales opportunities and enhance their success.
- Communicate trade painter activities regularly with local trade and inspiration stores.
- Understand key business drivers for trade painters, including estimating, quoting, cost management, productivity, and marketing.
- Maintain strong business-to-business relationships with individual accounts.
- Proven skills in new business development and account management.
- A track record of achieving sustained sales growth and financial success.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at various levels.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Motivated and focused on achieving results; trade/sales experience is beneficial.
