The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the mining sector, with hands-on experience in investment analysis and portfolio management. The candidate should possess a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities within the mining supply chain.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Geology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree would be highly valued.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment management, preferably within the mining sector.
- Experience working with or for major mining companies would be highly valued.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed investment decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey investment strategies and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
