Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants. The successful candidate will bring clinical expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills, while also mentoring junior team members.

The role involves providing person-centred Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants. You will work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans that promote independence and participation in daily activities.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists and support staff. You will participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to clients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants.
  • Mentor and supervise other Occupational Therapists and support staff.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
