Job Title: Privacy Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a values-led organisation that supports aged care, families and communities.

As a Privacy Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting people's privacy and making a real impact.

  • Advise on privacy laws and ensure compliance with State, Federal and GDPR regulations.
  • Manage privacy incidents and stakeholder information requests.
  • Lead Privacy Impact Assessments and collaborate with IT/Cyber teams.
  • Develop and implement privacy frameworks, policies and training.
  • Drive privacy awareness across the organisation.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in privacy, law or compliance.
  • 3+ years in a privacy-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Privacy Act 1988, APPs and GDPR.
  • Experience managing data breaches and developing privacy frameworks.
