Home-Based Care Assistant

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a Support Care Worker to join our team. As a Support Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care to older Australians in their own homes.
As a Support Care Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes;
- Assisting with day-to-day tasks such as cleaning, tidying, washing, and other tasks within the client's care plan;
- Transporting clients to appointments and shopping;
- Preparing meals;
- Providing social support or respite for family/carers;
- Assisting with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians;
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people;
- A reliable team player;
- An understanding of workplace health and safety;
- An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential).
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (99c per Km) + paid travel time.
