Job Description

We are seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll functions of our labour hiring business. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for managing the processing and administration of the payroll function, including sign-off on all payroll-related matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume payrolls, team management experience is preferred but not essential. They should be willing to mentor and develop a culturally diverse team and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders and clients to improve and further develop the payroll systems functionality and capability. They will develop a roadmap for the optimization of existing payroll systems and procedures while troubleshooting any payroll-related challenges.

Additionally, they will lead and mentor the onshore Brisbane-based payroll team as well as oversee Payroll operations carried out by our Agri Labour team in India.
