The Native Capabilities team plays a pivotal role within the Consumer Product & Experience group, driving innovation and efficiency across Listings, Visualisation & Content portfolio.

  • Contribute to technical discovery, design, and implementation of cutting-edge platform capabilities
  • Provide support for teams leveraging Nautilus in their experiences, including bug fixing, migration, custodianship support, and training
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members
  • Support custodianship efforts contributing to realestate.com.au apps as part of the Native platform
  • Contribute to weekly release process, providing build Zar and regression testing support based on a roster
  • Mentor and guide other engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence
  • Engage with the tech community, learning from others and sharing knowledge
  • Participate in team agile ceremonies

Requirements:

  • Expertise in native iOS development using Swift, with a strong grasp of Apple's frameworks, runtime, and tooling beyond UI layers
  • Deep understanding of iOS application architecture patterns (modularisation, dependency management, thread safety, memory management, background execution)
  • Added advantage – experience building internal platform capabilities such as authentication, logging, analytics, networking etc
  • Comfortable collaborating with Android engineers to deliver consistent capabilities
  • Experience/interest in contributing to both iOS and Android
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
