Meat Cutter Job Description

At Costco Wholesale, we're seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team in Auburn. As a Meat Cutter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our members receive high-quality meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional member service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Inspect and reassemble equipment, maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Operate meat cutting and preparation equipment, following safety and security procedures.
  • Cut and trim meat to Costco specifications, using band saws and knives.
  • Assist with wrapping and stocking meat cases, adhering to quality and consistency standards.
  • Clean and sanitize the area throughout the day, maintaining health regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Assist with monthly stocktake (inventory).
Requirements:
  • Completed Apprenticeship/Trade School preferred.
  • Must be a fully qualified Butcher.
