About the Role

As a key member of the Citizen Science & Expeditions Team, you will use your previous experience to drive the success of digital collections initiatives. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities will be invaluable assets to our team.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in biological sciences or a relevant discipline, who has extensive experience working with and building volunteer communities. Knowledge and demonstrated experience in administering website content and databases, as well as proficiency in using communication and social media tools, are essential.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of DigiVol Online projects
  • Support the achievement of Australian Museum objectives
  • Collaborate with the Citizen Science & Expeditions Team to drive digital collections initiatives

In return, you can expect a competitive annual salary of $89,707 - $98,983, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 10.5% rising to 11% from July 2023) and annual leave loading.
