Electrical Design Specialist

We seek a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to create innovative electrical and instrumentation designs for our projects. As a key member of our Engineering Services team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality design solutions.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical design, including EI&C asset drawings, technical studies, and feasibility analyses. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of engineering standards, specifications, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed electrical and instrumentation designs meeting professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date EI&C asset drawings.
  • Conduct technical studies and feasibility analyses to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on design reviews and document updates.
  • Maintain and develop engineering standards, specifications, and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A recognized qualification in electrical technology, engineering, or design.
  • At least 3 years of relevant design experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and PowerCAD.
  • A strong working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
