As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic and consultative services in Anatomical Pathology. Your contributions will not only enhance patient care but also foster a culture of excellence within our organization.



Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic and consultative services in Anatomical Pathology, including on-call duties.
  • Contribute to teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities aligned with the Staff Specialists (State) Award.


You will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to basic, applied, or clinical research and medical education. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability are essential for this role. Effective time management, motivation, initiative, and commitment to professional development are also crucial.



Selection Criteria
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Requirements for Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Anatomical Pathology.
  • Demonstrated commitment to clinical quality management, continuous improvement, and contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) Standards and NATA accreditation processes.
  • Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge and technical expertise within the specialty of Anatomical Pathology.
