Job Title: Specialist Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Pathologist to join our team.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to provide high-quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural and on-call specialty services in Anatomical Pathology.


Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely diagnosis of specimens, including histopathology, cytology and molecular pathology.
  • Consultation and Education: Offer expert consultation to medical staff, students and other healthcare professionals, promoting academic excellence and contributing to the development of our education programs.

Selection Criteria
  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and satisfactory requirements for Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Anatomical Pathology.
  • Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research, as well as medical education and staff training.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, possessing effective communication, interpersonal and adaptability skills.
  • Personal qualities including strong motivation, initiative, time management and dedication to professional development.
