Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Testing Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products.

The Role

As a Testing Automation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated tests using Python. You will focus on API, mobile, and performance testing to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential issues, and contribute to customer-facing documentation, including release notes.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing principles and automation frameworks, with experience in Cypress development and expertise in API testing, specifically with FastAPI.

They will also have hands-on experience with systems integration testing for web applications, mobile platforms, and portals, as well as intermediate-level skills in SQL Server databases.

Additional responsibilities will include developing automated tests for end-to-end user flows and processes, mastering various testing methodologies, and leveraging test management, CI/CD, and issue tracking tools to streamline the testing process.


Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as an SDET, demonstrating a strong understanding of software testing principles and automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Cypress development: Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Expertise in API testing, specifically with FastAPI (preferred): Experience testing FastAPI applications and understanding asynchronous programming concepts.
  • Experience in Mobile testing: Proficiency in mobile testing frameworks and tools.
  • Performance testing experience: Designing and executing performance tests.
  • Hands-on experience with systems integration testing for web applications, mobile platforms, and portals.
  • Proven ability to analyze functional requirements and API specifications to create effective automated test suites.
  • A knack for troubleshooting and identifying specific failure conditions.
  • Intermediate-level skills in SQL Server databases, allowing effective querying and analysis of data.
