Job Description

Effective water management is crucial for a sustainable future. As a hydrogeologist at our company, you will be part of a dynamic team working to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.

You will support the delivery of projects involving hydrogeological investigation and assessments, work on various small to medium-sized water projects, and contribute to globally connected multidisciplinary teams on major projects. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality field investigations, data management, and technical reporting, as well as investigating and writing reports, preparing proposals and bids for projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to the team, and mentor junior members while supporting senior members in delivering to internal and external clients. You will also build an active network across APAC and global service lines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need technical skills in groundwater investigations, hydrogeological conceptualisation, groundwater impact assessments, and resource evaluation. You should have hands-on experience with GIS software and spatial data analysis, as well as the ability to work independently with geological models, coding, and water assessment software. Proficiency in report writing in various formats for different clients/sectors is also essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as passion for technical excellence, diligence, and client service.

You should have relevant tertiary qualification in hydrogeology or related subjects and over 2 years' hydrogeological experience; over 8 years required for Senior role. Additionally, understanding or experience in numerical model development, including data collation, processing, and interpretation, is highly valued.
