This role is an opportunity for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to work with us in a flexible environment.

The Role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing specialist PBS services to NDIS participants. Your primary focus will be on delivering impactful support that aligns with their goals and promotes positive behaviour outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and write clear Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Support reduction of restrictive practices and promote inclusive living environments
  • Provide ongoing therapy, coaching, and capacity-building for participants and staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Recognised as Proficient, Core, or Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS PBS Capability Framework
  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Behavioural Science, or related field
  • Understanding of NDIS Positive Behaviour Support requirements and restrictive practice legislation
