Select People is seeking a skilled Marine Worker or Shipwright to join our team in a fast-paced marine service environment.

We offer extensive training to advance your skills in all aspects of sandblasting, spray painting, and shipwright tasks. As a marine worker, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including sandblasting and spray painting marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sand blasting and spray painting (antifoul) on marine vessels.
• Uphold safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.

Requirements

Marine Worker

• Relevant experience in marine work or a painting background are highly desirable.
• Sand blasting or spray painting (desirable, not essential).
• Car Licence (manual preferred, not essential).
• Forklift Licence (desirable, not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Well-presented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current boat license (desirable, not essential).

Shipwright

• Sound knowledge of vessel construction and maintenance practices.
