Job Title: Logistics Operations Specialist

As a key member of our logistics team, we are seeking an experienced and physically fit individual to work as a Logistics Operations Specialist in Crestmead, Queensland.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who can commit to full-time hours from Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for order picking using Stock Picker, pick and pack orders, operating counterbalance/high reach forklifts, receiving and dispatching goods, assembling customers' orders, stacking pallets correctly, unloading/loading containers, and performing quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Picking: Utilize Stock Picker to accurately select and collect products from warehouse locations.
  • Pick and Pack: Efficiently select and package customer orders for timely dispatch.
  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate counterbalance and high-reach forklifts to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Receiving and Dispatching: Accurately receive and dispatch goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely delivery.
  • Customer Order Assembly: Assemble and stack pallets correctly, adhering to company standards.
  • Container Handling: Unload and load containers efficiently, minimizing handling time.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid LO Licence, essential for safe forklift operation.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating your skills and knowledge.
  • Availability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
  • Own transportation, enabling efficient travel between sites.
  • Physical fitness, as lifting and manual handling are required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective teamwork and communication.

Work Arrangements:

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, on day shifts. The ability to adapt to changing demands and work collaboratively with colleagues is crucial for success in this role.
