Job Responsibilities
- Provide acute nursing care in accordance with legislation
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members
- Proactively assess perioperative nursing care
- Complete required documentation
Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum three years' relevant post-registration qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working within an acute surgical setting
- Experience in Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, or Neurosurgery surgical ward settings
- Knowledge and application of quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to work effectively in a supportive team
- Advanced communication skills
