We are seeking a skilled lawyer with 2-6 years post-admission experience to join our Corporate & Commercial team.
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents is a key responsibility;
- Our ideal candidate will work on a range of matters relating to corporate/M&A transactions, including due diligence, analysis of legal issues, and attending to regulatory compliance;
- Liaising with clients and corporate advisers, as well as other groups within the firm who provide specialist input on M&A transactional issues;
- Attending to completion of transactions is a critical task;
- Being part of a team on commercial transactions, such as capital raisings, joint ventures, management equity structures, etc.; and
- Other commercial contracts from time to time require attention to detail.
You will ideally have the following skills and qualifications:
- Post-admission experience in a corporate & commercial practice;
- Experience in M&A transactions is highly valued;
- Analytical and drafting skills are essential for success;
- The ability to organise and prioritise effectively is crucial;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is required;
- Strong commercial acumen is expected; and
- Technical excellence is a must.
