Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Health Manager to lead our Blood Borne Virus (BBV) and Sexual Health Promotion teams.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of projects, programs, and local initiatives that address sexual health promotion and blood borne viruses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning and implementation of BBV and SHP initiatives in line with NSW STI Strategy, HIV Strategy, Hepatitis B Strategy, Hepatitis C Strategy, and Needle and Syringe Program Guideline.
  • Management of the Sexual Health, BBV and STI Health Promotion, and Needle and Syringe Program teams, providing high-level direction, advice, and day-to-day people management.
  • Development and maintenance of partnerships and stakeholder relationships to drive performance and organisational change according to local and State priorities.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or public sector management or equivalent senior industry experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the individual and social impacts of HIV, STIs, and viral hepatitis.
  • Proven expertise in project management, strategic thinking, and development, implementation, and evaluation of health policies, plans, programs, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
