Glazier Fixer - Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Glazing System Assistant to assist experienced glaziers with the installation, fixing, and repair of glass products, windows, doors, and other glazing systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in the glazing industry or those with relevant trade skills looking to enhance their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced glaziers with the installation and fitting of glass, doors, windows, and facades.
  • Handle and transport glass and related materials safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and ensuring materials are ready for use.
  • Measure and cut as directed.
  • Perform basic repairs on glazing systems and fixtures.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
  • Provide general assistance as required to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in glazing, construction, or a similar trade is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in glazing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • White Card (construction induction).
