As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for installing framed and frameless shower screens, mirrors and glass splash backs in residential homes across SE QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity for those with Glazier or similar trade background who are looking to grow their business by subcontracting to a well-established national organisation.

The role will see you working predominantly in residential homes as well as interacting with retail customers, thus customer service skills are essential to make a good impression with every interaction.

To be considered for this Sub Contractor opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate relevant experience, have a focus on customer service, quality and OH&S and ensure maximum productivity in all tasks relating to these jobs.

Please note that this role will require you to lift heavy materials up to 2nd level floors on a regular basis to enable you to do installations.

You will need to have
  • ABN (sole trader)
  • Relevant insurances, such as Personal Accident Insurance / Workers Compensation; Public Liability Insurance; Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
  • Construction Induction White Card
  • Valid Australian Driver's License
  • Clean Valid Police Check
  • Own late model long wheel based van - such as a Hi Ace Van (that can carry material min 2.8 m in length) with frame to carry glass
  • Own tools required to do this work

With long term opportunities, this role will provide continual training to those whose goal is to grow their business and learn how to install a wider range of products, in turn maximising your potential earnings.

All successful candidates will have to undertake a health assessment as well as drug and alcohol screening.
