Field Service Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise and providing high-quality service to our customers across Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take ownership of installations, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs and customer training. You will work with a variety of industrial coding and marking systems, including CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LPA and LCM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair industrial coding and marking systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, software, packaging systems and consumables.
  • Perform structured preventative maintenance to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Deliver practical operator and maintenance training onsite.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on product demonstrations and solution delivery.
  • Manage parts usage and maintain accurate service records.
  • Foster strong customer relationships by delivering responsive, reliable and high-quality service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in field service, automation or industrial maintenance.
  • Trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics.
  • Proven troubleshooting ability across mechanical, electrical and software systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial printers or packaging line equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
