About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at GWA. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting solutions, developing meaningful insights from data, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet the growing needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver Power BI reports, ad-hoc data extracts, data models, and data warehouse enhancements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align on reporting requirements and insights
  • Identify gaps in the data warehouse and work with back-end developers to resolve them
  • Provide accurate estimates for report and data development tasks
  • Prepare test plans and ensure successful execution
  • Provide end-user support and training on Power BI reports

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in Power BI, data warehousing, and business intelligence. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality reporting solutions and working closely with stakeholders to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in Power BI, data warehousing, and business intelligence
  • Strong experience with Power BI dataset modelling and report design, plus Premium Features such as Pipeline deployment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Stack tools and technologies, including Fabric, Power BI, T-SQL
  • Expertise with Power BI third-party add-ons (e.g., Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit)
  • Ability to implement row-level security in Power BI and understand application security models
