Direct Care Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Direct Care Worker to provide exceptional service and support to residents of our Residential Care Home.

  • Our ideal candidate will assist in delivering direct care services, ensuring residents receive the necessary support to live fulfilling lives.
  • Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with health professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Requirements:
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field.
  • Previous experience working with aged, frail, or disabled persons.
  • Proficiency in using computer packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
