Position Overview

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager for National Distribution, the Master Data and Asset Care Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing direction and leadership for the long-term strategic planning functions at Incitec Pivot Fertilisers. This includes the development and mentorship related to the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and coordinating initiatives aimed at continuous improvement to enhance the existing CMMS and overall asset performance.
  • Overseeing system processes for SAP, iAuditor, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite while ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
  • Managing reports related to Process and Asset Management.
  • Developing comprehensive cost analyses for all CMMS activities, which includes life cycle cost modeling for assets, plans, jobs, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for equipment, along with managing budget forecasts aligned with maintenance strategies.
  • Maintaining the Work Management Manual, IPL Standards, SAP configuration documentation, and relevant training resources.
  • Collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to ensure adherence to established systems and processes, while assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for the long-term maintenance strategy of all assets.
  • Traveling to sites as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
  • Proven experience in influencing both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating ownership of responsibilities.
  • Formal education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering disciplines.
  • Extensive experience with SAP, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership experience, preferably within Engineering, Maintenance, or Heavy Industries.
