Job Overview

This position plays a critical role in supporting employees undertaking world-leading training. As the Technical Training Support Lead, you will lead and support a group of Deployment Leads within the Technical and Trade disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate goals clearly and effectively to the team.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the program and personnel.
  • Report directly to the International Training Support Manager and provide guidance to assist management in setting clear guardrails.
  • Mentor and guide team members to achieve their professional goals and develop a positive team culture.
  • Proactively identify processes for improvement and recommend action.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Operate with autonomy in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrate understanding of safety process management in Shipyard Production environments.
  • Have experience in technical training and competency management.
  • Understand Australian and ISO standards.
  • Be familiar with Australian trade-related codes of practice and governance compliance requirements.
  • Hold at least 3 years' relevant experience with a strong emphasis on operational delivery.
Required Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Hold leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Hold relevant technical qualifications in a related discipline.
