Job Title: Strategic Programme Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Project Manager who can thrive in dynamic environments. This individual will bring clarity and direction to complex situations, build trust quickly, and communicate effectively.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating the execution of Future Networks projects. These projects focus on integrating renewable energy, enabling flexible export systems, and deploying next-generation grid capabilities.

As a key member of our Enterprise Project Management Office team, you will work closely with the Future Networks and Markets team on a wide range of innovative projects. This role will support the rollout of flexible exports and emergency backstop solutions across NSW over the next 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and legislative requirements.
  2. Apply risk management principles to balance time, cost, and resources.
  3. Develop and implement project delivery, safety, environmental, and risk management plans.
  4. Drive continuous improvement by reviewing outcomes to enhance productivity and performance.
  5. Contribute to project/program cost and resource planning and forecasting.
  6. Oversee design, construction, and commissioning phases, coordinating with Design, Scheduling, and Operations teams.
  7. Manage contractors safely and effectively.
  8. Control project costs and provide timely, accurate reporting on project delivery, budget performance, risks, issues, and solutions.
