Simulator Technician

CAE is a leading technology company providing innovative solutions for the aviation industry. We are seeking a skilled Simulator Technician to join our team in Sydney.
Job Summary:The Simulator Technician will be responsible for maintaining the simulator and ensuring its availability and performance. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out maintenance tasks effectively as directed by Senior Simulation Technician or Technical Manager
- Ensure all maintenance tasks meet internal and external compliance requirements
- Work to CAE's Quality Management System
- Participate in maintenance-related continuous improvement activities
- Work to CAE's Environment, Health & Safety Management System
- Demonstrate professional, disciplined, and safe behavior in all day-to-day tasks
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Certificate IV Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent experience
- Experience in simulator, aircraft avionics, or electrical control system maintenance
- Hands-on experience using hand tools and test equipment
- Good understanding of computer networks
- Permanent Resident capable of obtaining a minimum baseline security clearance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
- Dedication and commitment to meet customer requirements and expectations
- High degree of personal integrity, accountability, ownership, and focus
- Ability to support local team to contribute to developing solutions to complex issues
- Readily accepting of change
