A Critical Role in Protecting Our Customers and Communities

The role of an AML Investigator is pivotal in safeguarding our customers and communities from financial crime. This position requires a unique blend of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions.

  • Triage and action system-generated alerts, including AML and Sanctions alerts, within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Investigate alerts, owning the alert from start to finish, including writing risk assessment reports and making business recommendations
  • Develop breadth of experience and support the team by providing coverage to areas most needed, gaining exposure to a range of stakeholders and investigations

Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in AML and Financial Crime risk, ideally with a working knowledge of processes and procedures in financial institutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and write formal reports
  • Confidence in making quick decisions and informed recommendations, with the ability to determine when it is appropriate to escalate
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume role, managing varied workloads, priorities, and pressures under minimal supervision
  • An investigative mindset and a focus on proactive engagement to deliver above and beyond
