Job Overview

This senior environmental engineering role leads the execution of complex projects. The position requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a genuine passion for environmental stewardship.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the planning, execution, and completion of environmental assessment and remediation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with clients, project scopes, and deliverables.
  • Provide expert guidance in contaminated land assessment, environmental site assessments (ESAs), waste classification, groundwater monitoring, and remediation strategies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Navigate local/state environmental regulations and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and review high-quality technical reports, environmental management plans (EMPs), and compliance documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Licenses: Australian driver's license and white card.

Experience: Minimum 6 years in environmental consulting or engineering, including leadership of multidisciplinary projects.

Certifications: CEnvP (Certified Environmental Practitioner) or eligibility for relevant national registrations will be advantageous.
