Job Title: Senior Assistant Registrar Role

The role of the Senior Assistant Registrar is a key position within the Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) leadership team, contributing to the strategic development and implementation of quality assurance and enhancement policies and procedures.

The focus is on collaborative partnerships and higher/degree apprenticeships, ensuring full compliance with internal and external regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to the strategic development and implementation of QAE policies and procedures.
  • Manage, implement, and enforce QAE policies to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Provide expert advice and decisions on the University's QAE framework at faculty and/or institutional level.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A comprehensive understanding of quality assurance and enhancement regulatory frameworks applicable to English institutions is essential.
  • Experience in quality assurance and enhancement processes, policies, and regulations is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, professional approach are necessary.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels and departments within the University and with partner institutions and regulatory bodies nationally and internationally is crucial.
Directorate and Function:

The Academic Services Directorate supports governance, develops academic policies, oversees quality and standards, and leads education practice across the University.
