Job Opportunity: Senior Mining Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to drive client success and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop tailored mining solutions: Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for clients, including equipment selection, fleet optimization, and automation strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
  2. Client consultations: Lead client meetings to assess operational challenges and propose sustainable solutions that meet their needs.
  3. Proposal preparation: Prepare detailed technical proposals, feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for mining projects that showcase the value of our services.
  4. Collaboration with internal teams: Work closely with engineering, sales, and R&D teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and deliver exceptional results.
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry advancements: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, such as autonomous systems and digitalization, to stay ahead of the curve.
  6. Safety and compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Mining equipment management experience: 5+ years of experience in mining equipment management, preferably with a strong understanding of Tier 1 companies or mining service providers.
  • Proficiency in design tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or similar tools to effectively design and develop solutions.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills for technical reporting and client presentations to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Understanding of regulations: Deep understanding of safety and environmental regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Autonomous haulage systems and IoT experience: Experience with autonomous haulage systems, IoT, or data-driven optimization to leverage the benefits of technology.
  • Project management certification: Project management certification (PMP, PE license or RPEQ certification) to demonstrate expertise in project management.
