Infrastructure Project Lead

Civil Engineers play a vital role in the planning, design and oversight of infrastructure development projects. These include roads, bridges, airports, and water treatment facilities.

The Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at reducing crash severity and frequency on the Bruce Highway. As an Infrastructure Project Lead, you will be part of a team that works to improve road safety through measures such as wide centre line treatments, audio tactile line marking, intersection upgrades, rest areas, pavement strengthening, overtaking lanes, and upgrades to narrow structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage infrastructure projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to select the most suitable contract process for project delivery and administer contracts to ensure compliance and successful delivery.
  • Determine appropriate bridge and road maintenance procedures, work instructions and manage road and bridge maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with local government and service authorities to develop solutions to issues within the road network.
