Behaviour Support Role

We are dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities achieve their full potential.

Our Behaviour Support Practitioners play a vital role in supporting adults and children in community settings, promoting positive behaviour change and improving overall health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting person-centred assessments and planning with NDIS participants, families and carers
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based positive behaviour support plans
  • Promoting the elimination of restrictive practices through education and practical strategies
  • Working collaboratively to build capacity in families, carers and support networks
  • Acting as a role model for best-practice service delivery
  • Participating in a multidisciplinary team with a shared mission to make a difference

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience working within the NDIS framework and supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours
  • Qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners or professionals with extensive experience in the disability sector
  • Degree qualifications preferred in OT, Social Work, Teaching or Speech Pathology
  • Passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to translate assessment findings into clear, actionable plans
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to balance a dynamic caseload
