Senior Risk Advisory Professional

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Advisory Professional to join our team. As a key member of our risk management function, you will play a critical role in supporting the business to manage risk effectively and operate within our risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, commercially aware risk and compliance advice to support business success while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to maintain control documentation, conduct assurance reviews, and report on internal control findings.
  • Support incident management, regulatory reporting, and the escalation of risk and compliance matters.
  • Contribute risk expertise to projects and initiatives, generating insights to help risk owners manage key risks effectively.
  • Champion a strong risk culture by staying across regulatory developments and providing clear, practical guidance to the business.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and 3–5 years' experience in Risk Management and/or Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, with experience in control assurance and risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to write and present clearly across forums.
  • Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of the industry and proficiency in relevant systems and software.
