Job Description

The Insurance Senior Associate role is a senior-level position within the Insurance & Health team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with industry leading principals to deliver high-quality advice and exceptional client service.

This opportunity has arisen due to growth in the Melbourne financial lines team, based out of our Brisbane office. You will work in a truly collegiate environment, headed by two respected financial lines Principals, Hubert Wajszel and Scott Shelly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defending a variety of claims brought against directors, officers and companies, and professionals across the legal, financial services, construction, health and property industries.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • previous defendant insurance experience (preferably professional indemnity);
  • ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
  • effective communication skills;
  • ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners;
  • collaborative and pragmatic approach.
