About This Opportunity

We're seeking an accounting professional to join our team in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. As a mid-senior level accountant, you'll have the opportunity to lead client engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of our firm.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge in taxation and accounting standards, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience with cloud-based platforms such as Xero and MYOB.

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of SME and individual clients across various industries, preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS, and working alongside our bookkeeping team to ensure a seamless accounting experience for our full-service clients.

As a trusted advisor, you'll provide strategic tax planning and business advisory services, supervise and mentor junior accountants, build strong client relationships, and identify growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For
  • CA or CPA qualified or commenced qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in public practice
  • Strong technical knowledge in taxation and accounting standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Xero and MYOB
  • A holistic, proactive approach to client issues
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders and serving as a trusted advisor
