We're seeking a Senior Editor to join our dynamic publishing team.

As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class publishing projects on time and within budget. This will involve proactive project management from manuscript to finished copy, creative development and editing (including structural and line-editing), evaluating submissions, preparing acquisition plans, copywriting and metadata management as well as liaising with authors, agents and freelancers.

Outside of your core editorial duties, you will read and report on submissions, contribute to brainstorming sessions and discussions around new acquisitions, and play a key role in shaping the future of our publishing list.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate reader across a wide range of genres, with excellent editorial skills, a forensic eye for detail, and demonstrable experience of taking multiple titles through the full editorial process.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to adapt to changing demands and manage multiple schedules with ease. Previous experience in the book industry would be an advantage, but we are open to hearing from candidates with a diverse range of backgrounds.
