About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team in Clayton. As a key member of our parts team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate information related to parts needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with front counter enquiries and locating Cat parts for customers and technicians
  • Following up and actioning outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns
  • System based parts interpreting using digital and print resources
  • Parts Warehousing tasks, including receiving, order picking and dispatch
  • Ensuring company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions
  • Assisting with the operation of display areas and stock cleanliness

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a true passion for customer service, a willingness to learn and develop into a Cat Parts Specialist, and the following skills and attributes:

  • Mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving and/or automotive is preferable
  • Exceptional communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Experience working on different kinds of systems/databases
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential)
